CSI: Hard Evidence was released for the XBox360 near the end of September 2007. This game is based on the CSI show that takes place in Las Vegas.

The gameplay is as fun as a point-and-click game can be. You first start at the crime scene looking for clues and stuff you can analyze then you go back to the lab. After exploring stuff and making discoveries, new places you can go both inside the crime lab and locations. Every time you come closer in the game to solving the case and leaving the crime lab, you get a real cutscene of Las Vegas. You then get to question people and look for more evidence that links someone else to the crime scene.

The gameplay’s difficulty depends on the level of the person playing this game. You have to be able to put clues together and draw conclusions. The difficulty of this game depends on the age of the person playing this game and the ability to put the right clues together. Your partner will also give hints if you ask which could point you to the next correct decision. After you solve every case, Grisham ranks you, tells you how could improve for the next case then gives you your ranking.

The controls are easy because all the controls point the cursor where you want then click. The controls worked all the time and did not show any problems.

The story is you start with a partner on one case and you have to solve it. The story is different for each case because the game has five cases (not counting the tutorial case.) The idea is to solve the case by finding all the clues and using as few hints as possible.

The graphics and sound are great. Including the real scenes of Las Vegas when you go somewhere. The voices of the cast sounded good and accurate from what I remember.

The playtime depends on how long it takes to solve the case. It can take between an hour to four hours per case. There is some replayability because even after you solve the case, you can do it all over again as many times as you want to get the master ranking on all five cases.

I give this game a 9 out of 10. I enjoyed solving the cases and being able to get help from my partner. I just wish the game had more than five cases to solve because once you get the hang of solving cases, this game will not take long to beat.
